Welcome to Thackley Cricket Club
You are now reading the website of the AIREWHARFE CHAMPIONS!
Thackley 1XI look to defend the Airewhare Championship during 2012 with new leader Andrew Stothart. Andrew will be backed up by Vice Skipper Leon The Bear Harber and with the usual suspects (and hopefully a better overseas) TCC will be looking to win the league, cup, and Black-Sheep competition. Why not?
Thackley 2XI will be looked after once again by Dean Skillicorn who refuses to leave until he's seen his team reach Division A (could be a long wait Michelle). As always we'll have a strong side, destroy 90% of the league and miss out finishing 3rd.
Thackley 3XI are a mixed bunch this season, so mixed up that we dont know who's in charge, who's doing the teas and which players are available. I'm sure we'll enjoy our Sundays however like we usually do, and if the form over recent years continues we'll be nearer the top rather than the bottom.
If you would like to help with news about the juniors please get in touch as its hard work trying to watch 5 teams on your own. If no-one comes forward only the U17's will be updated.
